- maybe you should get another doctor
- ask her doc. he can reallly help.
- OH MY GOD! Don't give it to her! lol.....just kidding! Yes, it's safe, it's just milk.
- no dummy
- I don't think that it is unsafe, but I have a hard time believing that it will cure thrush. Thrush is just the evidence that your child has an overgrowth of candida. Garlic is a great help with this but if you are not nursing than I don't know how you would administer this. My son has now had 3 bouts with thrush. The first two times I gave him meds but the third time I took a clove of garlic four times a day and nursed him as usual. It has now been gone for a month with no recurrence. Yogurt is very helpful in fighting candida but be sure to feed your child yogurt that has live cultures. There are a myriad of acidophulis supplements out there for infants. I would give her this daily as it will only help. In regards to your pediatrician I would look in to finding another. Listening to Mom is an important thing when you are a pediatrician. Most babies don't show signs of thrush until it is way out of control. More often than not it is the nursing mom who discovers that they both have thrush do to the pain she is experiencing in her breasts. I hope that this helps. Good luck to you.
- as long as she is 1 then she should be fine its not like your giving her drugs or anything, but if the doc says she doesnt have thrush then she probably doesnt just use a toothbrush and try to scrub it off (it is common in babies who drink milk or formula)
