Tongue Thrush
Is it possible for a 12 month old to have thrush?
Underneath my 12 month old's tongue, it is all white and cottage cheese looking. Could this be thrush? Is it possible to have thrush at this age? Took toddler to the doctor this morning, turns out that she cut the piece of skin under your tongue, and that is why it looks like thrush. Thanks for the answers.

- Very possible to have thrush, you should go to the doctor. Last summer when I worked in the daycare we had a couple of the kids that had thrush they were between 8-15mths. Just make sure to clean the toys your child plays with every day so the thrush doesn't come back after treatment.

- Yes. I'm told thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth. Anyplace warm and moist can get one.
