- The penicilin is making it worse. it is a yeast. So is thrush. it could be causing it. Demand a culture and sensitivity test. Ask for Lamisil pills or for Fluconazole pills. If he doesnt give it to you threaten to go somewhere else..... and report him to the state medical board. -sd (not a doctor)
- it could be the mumps or the measles. i'd talk to your doctor again [[in person]] or go to another one and see what they say.
- Sounds like thrush & antibiotics do make it worse. Eat as much yogurt as you can and get some acidolpholus(sp) from the health food store. You need a special mouthwash from the doctor to get rid of the thrush. Too much over the counter mouthwash just makes it worse. Also, if you've been feeling extremely tired and have swollen glands have the doctor check for mono.
- try with carbonated water, swish your mouth several times a day, It will probably dissapear in a day or two. If not go and see a doctor. We did this on patients when I was working in a hospital, the doctor didn't prescribe any other trearment. The blisters can have something to do with the white stuff, but try this, it will probably work if it is thrush. drink much water as well, it is often caused by medication or because you have a dry mouth"
- I know that when I have something like cinnamon gum I get an allergic reaction and would get blisters and my tongue would go white. Have you eaten something that you never had before? It's possible that you could be having an allergic reaction. No matter what it is, I would go see your doctor.
