i have this stuff on my tongue (its not thrush) its more of an white creamy color?
i have had it for a coulple of years, i floss, brush 2 to 3x a day, have stop smoking to see if that was it. my denist said i make plently of saliva so its not dry mouth but it seems that way. im health so i do'nt belive its my body fighting an infection for the 4 years ive had it. if i drink water constely its not as bad.

- Does it kinda scrape off? If it does then it's nothing to really worry about. Just do what you would normally do.
- i duno, maybe the things you eat? brush ur tongue with a tooth brush too. it helps. if it bad when you wake up in the morning? then its prob plaque. or do u have a cold? it could be mucus dried uknow
- SO DO I! Iv'e always wondered what that stuff is. I think it's just the normal mucosa membrane which coats the tounge, but I'm not sure. Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mucous_membrane.
- Maybe you are producing too much yeast. It could be a yeast infection. Yeast infections can become pretty bad. You might want to see a doctor.
- this is directly connected to what you eat. it also reflects what is going on inside your intestines. cut out all wheat, especially refined wheat (ie pasta, cookies, bread) for a week and there is a good chance you will notice change, if not clearing it out. if it doesn't get better, avoid dairy too, and you will notice a change.
