Tongue Thrush

i have this stuff on my tongue (its not thrush) its more of an white creamy color?

i have had it for a coulple of years, i floss, brush 2 to 3x a day, have stop smoking to see if that was it. my denist said i make plently of saliva so its not dry mouth but it seems that way. im health so i do'nt belive its my body fighting an infection for the 4 years ive had it. if i drink water constely its not as bad.

1. I think it's just random crap left over from eating foods. A tongue cleaner should get rid of it. I use a tongue cleaner and it works well. Also, instead of a tongue cleaner, you can just use a spoon to scrape it off your tongue.
2. I think everyone has that white stuff on their tongue to a certain extent. I use a tongue scraper. I don't know why you might have an excessive amount though.
3. as u have said u had the habit of smoking,u try to scrap it wit a tongue cleaner,if it doesnt go of, it might be a condition called leukoplakia.its a precancerous condition which should be looked in to as soon as possible.better visit a dentist near by to rule out.
